Sweeney got up the next morning, to the smell of freshly baked pies. He turned all of the signs to open, and began sharpening his razors. About an hour later, Sweeney had his first customer for the day. Minutes later, the man was dead. Sweeney tilted back the chair and let him fall into the cellar. He smiled, and wiped the blood off of his silver razor.

What a day! Sweeney Todd had given at least 20 people a nice little shave , and Mrs. Lovett had baked at least one hundred pies! Toby on the other hand, just goofed off all day. Toby was a 12-year-old boy, unlike Mrs. Lovett, and Sweeney Todd.
"Oh hello love, how 'bout a pie?" Mrs. Lovett asked the tired looking Sweeney Todd. "Fine." Mr. Todd responded walking into the pie shop. He put his jacket on the coat rack and sat down at a small table. Mrs. Lovett quickly brought him some pie and gin. "Thanks." Said Mr. Todd, quietly not smiling.
"Had a good day?" Mrs. Lovett asked Mr. Todd cheer
